We got a new pool for the boys yesterday and Enoch got in, sporting his new goggles. I snapped this picture right after he put them on for the first time. This picutre always brings a smile to face now, I think it's frame-worthy. It definately screams summer to me!

When I grow up.....
We've been talking about stranger danger lately with Enoch. He's been doing pretty well when strangers talk to him in the store (with me right next to him). He won't reply until I tell him "It's ok, Mamma's right here, you can talk to her" Today we were in the supermarket, and he was all excited as we went down an aisle and there were a few firefighters doing their shopping. As we got closer to them, one of the guys asked Enoch if he would like a sticker. Enoch, of course just stood there and looked at him until I gave him the OK. Throughout the whole store, he was talking about how he wanted to be a 'fiterfighter' and that he will push the blue button to turn on the sirens, ect. As we were driving home, I realized this would be a perfect opportunity to teach him about good strangers. I explained that people who are wearing uniforms are good strangers, and if he ever got lost, it would be OK to find someone in uniform and talk to them. He was silent for awhile and then said, all excited "When I grow up, I wanna wear a uniform. Then I will be a good stranger and you can talk to me."

"Are you in here?"
Enoch has been playing with boxes lately, and we had quite the pile up, so last week I threw one out w/o Enoch knowing. Fastforward to this week: Nathan hired some maids to come do a deep clean for my birthday yesterday. Enoch went looking for his box that I had thrown away, and came to tell me that "the maids hid my box" I busted out laughing and told him that I don't think the maids would hide our things. He then continued to wander through the house looking for it, saying "Are you in heeeeeere? Nooooo. Are you in heeeere? Noooo. Hmmm, where did they hide it"

It's too loud!
Enoch went to a birthday party today and got a whistle in his goody bag. I told him that it is an outside toy and if he blew it in the house, he would lose it for the rest of the day. He happily went outside, closed the screen door, then turned around, stuck the end of the whistle right up to the screen and blew as hard as he could. Little Stinker!

Drip, Drip
Enoch yelled at me with worry in his voice: Mom! Oakley's dripping!
I look at Oakley only to see he is drooling.
I look at Oakley only to see he is drooling.
I'm cute, right?
I was shopping with the boys and when we walked by the dressing room, Enoch asked if we could go in. I told him since we were shopping for Oakley, we wouldn't need to go in this time. He responded with "But I want to see how cute I am"
You're Backwards
Enoch: My belly is getting hot, I want to put my shirt on
Me: You mean your belly is cold?
Enoch: No, my belly is HOT
Me: I think you have it backwards
Enoch: (looking down at his pants) No, they are on right.
